Infinity Nikki Glimmerdrop Locations and Night Routes
Glimmerdrops are glowing insects found at night. Their light helps you spot them, but you still need Bug-Catching to collect the material.
The Glimmerdrop map contains many covered points. Pick a small cluster near your current task rather than treating the whole map as one required route.

Choose a compact group of points and search for moving lights after dark.
Start after dark and catch one group carefully
Set a night time visit and look for the small moving lights around the close area. Watch the movement before catching so you can separate an insect from a fixed light.
Prepare the net, approach slowly and calmly and wait for the catching cue. When several bugs are close together, choose an angle that gives you a clear view of the group.

Keep the route small enough to finish
Choose a connected set of nearby points and work only in night. Check your sketch shortage after the first group.
For a return visit, keep the track of the all locations where you actually caught bugs. An empty point can reflect a old collection or a wrong approach, so do not assume the map is wrong after a single quick look.
Frequently asked questions
Why are the points empty during the day?
Glimmerdrops are a night-time search. Return after dark and look for moving lights around the covered area.
Do I need a special glowing outfit?
Use the ordinary Bug-Catching ability. Cosmetic effects or other ability outfits are not required to identify the material and make a standard net catch.
Does a glow always mean Glimmerdrop?
No. Check for a creature and the catching cue, then read the pickup name. Fixed lights, effects and other glowing insects can be misleading.
Is Glimmerdrift the same item?
No. Keep the full material name in view when choosing a route and checking your sketch. This page selects the Glimmerdrop category.
How many markers should I visit?
Start with a nearby cluster and compare the actual catches with your remaining requirement. The number of available pins is not a required collection target.
